What Can I Use Plastaweld on Around The House?

In Today's World, Plastic is used all around us, and its not just the cheap stuff anymore. Many of our expensive possessions are made with plastic. Until now,when they broke, there wasn't a reliable method of repairing them.

Here are just some of the things you can repair with Plastaweld around the house:

Refrigerator doors
The support hooks have broken off of this refrigerator door tray and are missing.

To the right, the tray has been Plastawelded to the door. It is no longer removable, but, it is useable again. if the hooks had been saved, we could have kept it removable.
If desired, the repair may now be filed, sanded and painted.

Acrylic artists paint  may also be pre mixed and added to the Plastaweld prior to welding.
After Plastawelding the hinge pin into place, The door cover pivots open properly for food access.
The Hinge pin on this door cover has broken off. The homeowner saved the pin, so we can weld it back on, maintaining full functionality.
This RV type mini fridge had extensive damage and the plastic was paper thin. The hinge pin receivers were broken out, and nearly every shelf and retainer was cracked. We Plastawelded 1/4" washers in for hinge pin retainers. We Then repaired and re-enforced the cracks. The fridge is once again fully functional!








Pump housing repair
The submersible pump below was cracked due to freeze damage. the second picture shows the Plastawelded  pump housing, an the third shows the pump moving water again.
